Vale David Sullivan

I am sorry to advise that David Sullivan longtime committee member and past president of PwMS Vic Inc, and one of the longest serving MS Ambassadors, died peacefully in his sleep on Friday 13th January after an extended battle with cancer. David put a great deal of effort into the cause of people with MS and people with chronic disabilities. In addition to his work for  MS David was also a long term member of the executive committee of Australians for Disability and Diversity Employment. David was a truly gentle man and a close personal friend. He had lived with MS for nearly 30 years. He will be remembered as someone who put aside his own trials to focus on working for people with MS.

"Belmadar Rose Cottage was a great place to stay - well located, clean, and tidy, had all the facilities needed and the proprietors were very welcoming and helpful also. My well behaved pets were welcome guests. We have stayed there twice already and will be returning and recommending it to our friends - in a word - FANTASTIC!" - Vic, Jan 07

The accommodation was excellent. There is attention to every detail for wheelchair users. It was the best wheelchair-friendly accommodation I have been to. Nothing is missed from a terrific wheelchair-friendly bathroom to benches that you can wheel under. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was. It was very clean, the people were lovely and the cookies left for you were beautiful, I don't think I left a crumb. We loved it and will be back. Melissa QLD Oct 2006
